bridal make-up - $195

A 60-minute make-up session to get you looking beautifully radiant on your wedding day, We discuss your ideal make-up preferences in advance and use reference images to create the perfect wedding look that's just right for you. Includes skincare and lashes.

bridal hair - $195

A 60-minute hair styling session to give you the wedding hair of your dreams! Similar to your make-up look, we discuss your favourite bridal hair styles in advance through reference images. Hair extension rental and install is also available on request. See FAQ below for more details.

bridal preview session - $250

Reserved for clients who have booked in, we offer a 3-hour in-person wedding hair and makeup preview session in Whistler in advance of your wedding day, where we create your perfect wedding day beauty look and tweak it to perfection with your feedback. 

bridesmaids, moms & guests - $145

A 45-minute make-up or hair session on the wedding day for your bridesmaids, moms or additional wedding party guests priced per person. For wedding parties requiring more than 4 total services, an assistant will join.

service minimums & early starts

For all Saturday bookings from May - September, minimum spend is $600. For Sunday to Friday bookings, minimum spend $390. An assistant is required for more than 4 services, whereby a $50 assistant fee is applicable per assistant. For early morning weddings, add $50 per hour before 7am.

travel costs

I am based in Whistler and do not charge travel for weddings and Preview Sessions within Whistler and the surrounding neighbourhoods. For Pemberton and Squamish please add $50. For further afield locations, please contact me. 

editorial & commercial shoots

I am available for engagement, fashion, TV commercials and editorial photo shoots as well as professional headshots, film and events. Please contact me with more information about your requirements and for price enquiries.

How can I confirm my booking and secure my wedding date with you?

First, you’ll need to submit your details on the Contact Form shown on the homepage and we'll reach out (usually within 24-48 hours) to let you know availability. Please allow extra time for all communication during peak Whistler wedding season, May - September. 

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings, payable via e-transfer. Once your deposit has been received, you will be emailed a link to our online Intake Form to complete.

2024 / 2025 Minimum Booking Fees:

Saturday (May to September)  - $600 + GST
Saturday (Outside of peak season October - April) - $390 + GST
Sunday - Friday (Year round) - $390 + GST

What if I don't know my final hair & makeup numbers right now?

This is no problem, your deposit payment can be based on your best estimate of hair and makeup services required.

When is my final payment due?

Your final payment is due within 48 hours following the wedding and will be invoiced to you. Final payment can be made earlier in advance of the wedding, if this is a preference. Your final balance is payable as one payment via e-transfer and will have GST added on to the above pricing. Please do not ask your bridal party to pay artists individually on the day. If any services are added last minute or parking fees have been incurred and you have already made payment, an additional invoice will be sent. All payments must be made by e-transfer to

How do I let you know my preferred wedding day hair & makeup styles?

Our Client Intake Form will request a Pinterest page link (recommended) or some images sent via email to show us your preferred wedding day hair and makeup look. If you have any particular hair and makeup questions you’d like to get a bit more detail on, a complimentary 10 minute phone consultation can be arranged, after we receive your reference images.

What is your signature style and how will I know if it’s right for me?

We can create any style from reference images supplied by you. However, the Whistler Wedding Makeup Signature Style - born from many years working within London’s hip fashion scene - has a real focus on natural, radiant, glowing skin and chic, effortless makeup looks that offer more of a high-end, editorial magazine feel. This fresh beauty style that’s created specifically to uplift, accentuate and elevate your own unique beauty, takes preference over a cookie-cutter, beauty pageant style that is often heavy and out-dated. However, if classic beauty pageant style is the wedding look you really want - guess what - we can create it for you! Looking through the Weddings and Fashion portfolio pages on the website, offer the best idea of the hair and makeup styles we offer.

What locations do you offer hair and makeup services?

I am based in Whistler and offer a mobile hair and makeup service at your location. I do not charge a travel fee for all Whistler locations. We also cover Squamish and Pemberton, for a $50 travel fee. For further afield locations including Vancouver and abroad, please contact me.

How many services can you accommodate for my wedding bridal party?

I have an experienced and skilled team of H&MU artists available in Whistler, meaning I can cover all size wedding parties from elopements (bride only) to large groups. When more team members are required for your wedding, there is a $50 assistant fee per team member. 

Do your team members offer a similar style of hair and makeup service to you?

Yes - rest assured all my team members have been carefully selected and each have at least 10+ years of experience within hair, makeup or both. What’s more, we regularly connect to discuss new techniques, products and styles. For makeup, I train my team members on the ‘Whistler Wedding Makeup’ signature style - fresh, natural and radiant beauty that looks glowing, modern and effortless.

What time should we start my hair and makeup services on my wedding day?

We recommend finishing all hair and makeup services 45-60 minutes before your departure time, so your schedule start time is worked out by working backwards from your departure time. If you are planning to do a first look photo session for just the bride and groom before your ceremony and other members of the bridal party (bridesmaids / moms) can be ready at a later time, please let us know and some services can be scheduled after the bride’s ready by time.

When will I receive my hair and makeup schedule?

Your hair and makeup schedule is usually created 1-2 weeks before the wedding and emailed to you to check over and confirm, unless requested at an earlier date by you or your wedding planner. We then request that you add in your bridal party names to the schedule, depending on who wants to go in each time slot, and send back.

How much time should I allow for my hair & makeup on the wedding day?

For large wedding parties, we like to allow 1 hour for bride makeup and 1 hour for bride hair. For bridesmaids, moms and other guests makeup, we allow 45 minutes plus 5 minutes for brush cleaning between services. Some more technical hairstyles may take longer - please let us know if you think your hairstyle may need more time. Likewise, for all hair longer than the bottom of your shoulder blades and naturally very thick, more styling time may be required so please let us know in advance if either your or your bridesmaid’s hair falls into this category, and we can schedule this accordingly. 

What if my bridesmaids want to use their own clip-in hair extensions for their hairstyle?

There is a $50 fee applicable to all clip-in extension installs, so please make sure your bridesmaids are aware of this.

Do you offer half make-up services, if my bridesmaids or moms want to do some of their own makeup and just get eyes, lips and final touches done by you?

We only offer a full 45 minute makeup service for each bridesmaid and mom, for the price listed above and do not offer half services. However, we can add false lashes for anyone who has done their own makeup and just wants to add false lashes, for $25 +GST.


When and why should I book a H&MU Preview Session?

Preview sessions are reserved for booked clients and are a great way to trial your wedding day hair and makeup ideas and make sure the styles you have in mind will work for your features. We welcome your feedback from the Preview Session to make any styling tweaks, so you’re sure to get the perfected look of your wedding dreams, on the day itself. To give you an idea, about 50% of our brides opt to book a Preview Session and 50% are happy to have on-the-day services. 

All Preview Sessions are scheduled Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm in Whistler and are usually within 1-2 months of the wedding date. For brides who do not live in the Sea-To-Sky area and will only be in Whistler for the wedding, we can offer a Preview Session 1-3 days before the wedding between 12pm - 4pm, depending on availability. 

What should I bring to my Hair & Make-up Preview Session?

Please bring any hair accessories you want to try out, and clip-in hair extensions if you want to use these on your wedding day. We can also offer clip-in hair extension rental, with enough notice (usually 4-6 weeks). Some brides like to wear a white coloured top to their Preview Session, to replicate their wedding dress colour. It’s also helpful to bring along wedding jewellery and your favourite lip colour, concealer and foundation (if you wear these) so we can colour match.

Should I organise parking for you on the wedding day?

Please check with your accommodation in advance to see if they will supply complimentary parking passes. Where paid parking is incurred, it will be added to your final invoice, covering parking for all H&MU team members in attendance.

How should I get my hair ready for my styling service?

Please make sure your hair is clean and dry for styling. It can be washed the day of the wedding or the evening before. Unless your hair is naturally curly and you would like to maintain your natural curls within your wedding hair style, it’s advisable to blow-dry your hair to help add volume before your hair styling service.

How should I get my skin ready for makeup?

Have a read through our Wedding Skin Prep guide for lots of tips on how to get extra hydrated and glowing skin for your wedding. It’s advisable, especially for dry skin, to gently exfoliate a few days before the wedding and use a gentle and hydrating sheet mask the night before or morning of your wedding. Some sheet mask recommendations are given in the guide. It’s also a good plan to gently exfoliate lips the night before and drink plenty of filtered water in the days leading up to your wedding.

Do you offer foundation airbrushing?

We do not offer airbrushing as part of our makeup service, but always create seamless and long lasting coverage using expert foundation mixing and brush blending techniques, which are tailored to your skin’s exact needs on the day.

Do you offer touch-up kits as part of your services?

We’re not keen on the single use products, plastics and waste involved with offering touch up kits. Instead, we prefer to offer advice on some key makeup products for you to keep in your wedding day makeup bag, products which can then enjoy continued use after the wedding day, to avoid unnecessary waste.

Do you offer hair and makeup services for non-wedding occasions, such as engagement shoots, bachelorette parties and other photoshoot events?

Yes - all the information here applies to all other types of bookings, which we are always happy to accommodate. 


What hair and makeup products do you use?

We use a wide range of different makeup and hair styling products from many top-selling brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Merit, Rare Beauty, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Clinique Benefit, Smashbox and Armani, all of which have been reviewed and refined over many years of experience, and narrowed down to the best wedding day hair and makeup products currently available within the industry. Where at all possible, we use cruelty-free, fragrance-free and certified clean products and avoid any unnecessary chemicals or scents.
